My girlfriend thought it’d be a good idea for us to make some art with tempera paint. So we went to the local drugstore and bought some. I haven’t painted in years. But I do remember is that tempera paint is pretty much the cheapest, most horrible type of paint available. Sure enough, the paint dried too fast and we couldn’t blend or layer the colors effectively. The end result isn’t a complete trainwreck, but like an impressionist painting, you have to view it from a distance.
